Generally, when selecting a magnetic pump, we will ask the user how much flow head is required? If the flow head cannot be determined, the correct selection cannot be made. Sometimes when the customer asks how much flow head is required, a small number of customers say it doesn’t matter. Now we remind customers of this It is impossible to say that the flow rate can be unrequired, but the lift must not be required. We have to inform us of the practical working conditions such as the vertical height, the horizontal distance, how the pipeline is placed, the number of elbows, the size of the pipeline, and what liquid to transport, etc. You choose the right pump.
The first step is to determine the detailed type of the magnetic pump. After choosing which series of magnetic pumps to choose, the flow can be selected according to the flow required by the practical working conditions. If the head is not determined, the elbow and horizontal distance can be added according to the vertical height of the transportation. The pipeline loss can be Calculate the required head and expand the 5%-10% margin to the required head. The main parameters of these two functions are used to determine the detailed type on the type spectrum or series characteristic curve.
Using the pump characteristic curve, find the required flow value on the abscissa, and find the required head value on the ordinate, draw a vertical or horizontal line from the two values upwards and to the right, and the intersection of the two lines just falls on the characteristic curve, then This pump is the water pump to be selected, but such aspirations are generally not rare.
Generally, the following situations will be encountered:
1. The intersection point is above the characteristic curve, which means that the flow meets the requirements, but the head is not. At this time, if the head is similar, or the difference is about 5%, it can still be used. If the head is much different, choose a pump with a larger head. Or try to reduce the resistance of the pipeline and discard it.
2. The intersection point is below the characteristic curve and within the fan-shaped trapezoid range of the pump characteristic curve, start to set this type, and then decide whether to cut the impeller diameter according to the difference in head. If the difference in head is very small, do not cut. If the head differs greatly, cut the impeller diameter according to the required Q, H, and ns and the cutting formula. If the intersection does not fall within the range of the fan-shaped trapezoid, a pump with a smaller head should be selected. When selecting a water pump, sometimes it is necessary to consider the requirements of the production process and choose different shapes of Q-H characteristic curves.
