When we use gear oil pumps, we will encounter many failures and the reasons for these failures are also different. Our elimination method based on the production of gear oil pumps for many years:
(1) Seasonally add or change the engine oil that meets the requirements to the specified oil level. Take out the foreign objects in the tubing and tighten the bolts or nuts at the joints
(2) Replace the aging or damaged frame oil seal or "O"-shaped sealing rubber ring;
(3) Replace the worn gear pump or oil pump shaft sleeve, and smooth the end face on the plate when the wear is slight. The allowable error of unevenness is 0.03mm; the end surface of the upper shaft sleeve is lower than the upper plane of the pump body (the normal value is lower than 2.5~2.6mm). If the tolerance is exceeded, the lower shaft sleeve should be compensated with a 0.1~0.2mm copper sheet. It should be installed on the rear shaft sleeve;
(4) Only when the unloading piece and the sealing ring are installed in the oil cavity can the two shaft sleeves maintain balance. The sealing ring of the unloading piece should have a preload of 0.5mm;
(5) The elastic force of the guide wire should be able to simultaneously twist the upper and lower sleeves to the driven gear rotation direction by a slight angle, so that the processing planes of the two sleeves of the main and driven gears closely fit;
(6) The unloading groove on the shaft sleeve is installed on one side of the low pressure cavity to eliminate harmful dead volume when the gear meshes;
(7) Before pressing in the self-tightening oil seal, a layer of lubricating oil should be applied to the surface of the self-tightening oil seal, and attention should be paid to turning the oil blocking edge toward the front cover, and not reverse installation;
(8) "Right-handed" pumps cannot be installed on "left-handed" machines, otherwise the skeleton oil seal will be damaged;
(9) Before installing the pump cover, pour a small amount of oil into the pump casing and turn the meshing gear by hand;
(10) Before installing the gear oil pump cover and not tightening the bolts, check the gap between the pump cover and the pump body to see if it is between 0.3 and 0.6 mm. If the gap is too small, replace the larger sealing ring and pressure relief parts. After the hydraulic oil pump is installed, it should rotate flexibly without jamming.
