When the centrifugal water pump is started, there is no water in the inlet and outlet pipes of the pump, so there will be no frictional resistance in the pipeline and the frictional resistance of increasing the aspect ratio. After the centrifugal water pump is running, the pump lift of the centrifugal water pump is very low, and the total flow is very large. When the pump motor (motor power) output is very large (according to the pump characteristic curve), it is very easy to be overweight, which will destroy the pump motor and route. Therefore, the inlet and outlet valves must be closed to make the pump operate normally.
If a centrifugal water pump with an axial fan is used, the situation is reversed, and the valve must be opened. At this time, the output power of the motor is low. Because there is no frictional resistance in the short term, it will run at a large flow rate, and pump vibration, noise, and even Overload operation of the motor will damage the motor. Turning off the inlet and outlet valves is equivalent to setting the working pressure of the pipe resistance by human factors. After the pump runs normally, the gate valve is operated slowly, so that the pump will gradually work normally along the regularity of its characteristic curve.
Preparation work before operation of self-priming centrifugal pump
1. Fill the pump body with water, the purpose is to better produce a vacuum pump;
2. Be sure to close the shut-off valve on the water outlet, so that the centrifugal water pump does not produce total flow, which can reduce the running current of the motor, which is conducive to the successful operation of the centrifugal water pump. With the successful operation of the centrifugal water pump, the shut-off valve should be opened gradually.
The centrifugal water pump relies on the centripetal force of the centrifugal impeller to generate the suction force of the vacuum pump to lift the water. Therefore, when the centrifugal water pump starts, be sure to close the inlet and outlet valves and fill with water. The water level is above the position of the centrifugal impeller, and the gas discharged from the centrifugal water pump can be operated. After operation, a vacuum pump is generated around the centrifugal impeller to suck up the water. It can be turned on automatically to lift the water. Therefore, be sure to close the inlet and outlet valves first.
