The following is about the pressure conversion of gear pumps and screw pumps. Some customers have been confused and do not know how to say, so I list some common conversion methods, and hope to help everyone.
1.Pa (Pascal), Kpa (kilopascal), Mpa (megapascal), atm (standard atmospheric pressure)
【Conversion relationship】
1Pa=1 N/M^2 (Newtons per square meter)
1atm=101325 Pa≈100 KPa or 101KPa or 0.1 MPa
1KPa=1000Pa
1MPa=1000KPa=1000000Pa
2. Units often used in the industrial field
For example, in the selection of gear pumps, gear oil pumps, arc gear pumps, three-screw pumps, heat transfer oil pumps, high viscosity pumps, etc., in addition to the units mentioned in 1.
(1) .mbar (mbar), bar (bar);
(2).mmHg (millimeters of mercury), inHg (inches of mercury);
(3).Kgf/cm^2 (kilogram force per square centimeter), usually referred to as "kg";
(4).inH20 (inch water column), mH20 (meter water column);
(5).torr (support);
(6).PSI (pounds per square inch)
For detailed conversion of the above pressure and pressure units, please see:
3. To facilitate memory, it is simplified as follows:
(1). Air pumps and vacuum pumps are commonly used: (for convenience, approximate values are used)
1 atmosphere pressure = 0.1 MPa = 100 KPa;
1 atmosphere pressure = 1 kilogram = 10 meters water column = 400 inH20;
1 atmosphere pressure = 1000 mbar = 1 bar;
1 atmosphere pressure = 760 mmHg = 760 torr;
(2). Commonly used water pumps: (for convenience, approximate values are used)
1 kg = 1 bar;
1 kg = 0.1 MPa;
1 kg = 14.5 PSI;
4. Examples
(1). Mini high-pressure water pump HSP11050
Large output pressure: 11 kg=1.1MPa=11bar=160PSI
The volume is only 22.5×11×10 CM, and the weight is only 2500 grams. In the micro centrifugal pump and the micro liquid pump, the pressure is very high.
(2). Micro pump FAA6003
The parameters are as follows:
a. Vacuum (pressure): 60KPa;
Expressed in mmHg: 760*(60/100)=456mmHg
That is, it is lower than the atmospheric pressure: 456-760=-304mmHg, which means that FAA6003 can provide a negative pressure that is 304mmHg lower than the atmospheric pressure.
b. Large output positive pressure: 60KPa;
Expressed in kilograms: 60/100=0.6 kg=0.06MPa
